Tiani, Executive Director
Mr. Tiani is leading all
aspects of Groundwork Bridgeport and has instituted several innovative programs
that have proven to engage the community in environmental education and neighborhood
beautification. He engaged and aligned community groups, businesses and local
government agencies to partner on neighborhood initiatives. He has introduced
business practices and a financial management process that are ensuring the stability
of the organization and the sustainability of its programs.

P. Lanier, Butterflies are Teachers and Individual Self-Sufficiency Program Coordinator
Mr. Lanier is currently a Science teacher at Warren Harding High
School in Bridgeport, CT and has been there since August of 2001. Mr. Lanier
acts as supervisor of the Harding High School Horticultural Club students who
are mentors for the elementary school students participating in the BAT program
activities. Also, he was responsible for designing the BAT program curricula
and for training the curriculum and related activities to the teachers and mentors
involved in the program. Mr. Lanier runs the ISS program at Harding High and organizes the summer jobs portion of the program. He received the "2002 Teacher of the Year Award"
in Fairfield County.
